Five Workouts for People Who Don't Like Working Out

Sure, you could always run endless miles or whatever in an effort to fulfill that one 2018 resolution. Or lift weights. Or run more endless miles.

But should you be the type of person who needs to trick yourself into fitness-y situations, these five deceptively good-for-you activities might be what you're looking for. Especially if you're looking for off-Broadway dancing classes or trampoline dodgeball matches.

You weren't, but still...

As promised: Off-Broadway dance classes at Carillon, where you'll learn the steps to classics like Chicago, A Chorus Line and West Side Story while burning off whichever resolution-breaking shenanigans you're getting into these days. Off Broadway Dance at Carillon

Then there's this thing, which involves spinning on a bike in the middle of a pool with only your head and shoulders exposed. Bonus points for impromptu chicken fights, even though they probably won't let you have impromptu chicken fights. Aqua Cycling at Element Aqua

As a kid, Dodgeball was fun. As an adult, Dodgeball is still fun. Add in a few dozen trampolines at SkyZone and it's not just good times, it's good for you. But mostly good times. Ultimate Dodgeball at SkyZone

Here's a yoga class where you don't move around a lot. Which doesn't sound half bad. You'll strike a pose, stay there for 3-5 minutes and expand your flexibility. Oh, and it'll be 95- to 98-degrees in there. Always a catch. Hot Yin at Modo Yoga

You know those obstacle course competition shows you swear you could compete on? Yeah, those. Here's your chance to see how you stand up to rope courses, wall climbs and general dangling until things go numb. It's called Ninja Lounge, so you can at least feel good about that. Ninja Fitness at Ninja Lounge
