Hunger can strike at any time.

And when it does, you want a place that’s there for you.

With biscuits. And whiskey.

Spend your day at The Heights, a casual neighborhood hangout that’s providing you with coffee, three square meals and a full bar. It’s open now in the old Legal Grounds space on Abrams.

Inside, it’s a simple spot with a wooden bar, wooden tables and a green banquette along the wall. Everything you need (biscuits) and nothing you don’t (rolling napkin cart).

And now: a by-the-hour breakdown of how this place will prove itself useful.

7am
They’re opening early for breakfast, so swing by on your way to work for a plate of migas, some coffee and a Jalapeño-Cheddar Pig in a Biscuit. (See the menu.)

12:15pm
Studies show that a hearty chicken pot pie is a productive way to spend your lunch break.

8pm
Come back for a casual dinner of steak frites or braised brisket pot roast.

Midnight
The bar’s staying open late to supply draft beers and liquor nightcaps before your evening ends. At which point you should probably head home.

Get a few hours’ sleep before they reopen for breakfast.
