And the Latest New York Pizza Spot to Hit Miami Is...

Artichoke Basille’s is opening tonight at Ricky’s. That? It’s just a New York pie spot that people there tend to line up outside of buildings for. Go for the twice-baked Sicilian with plum tomatoes and basil. Go for the Vodka Sicilian with cream sauce. Go for the Artichoke with... artichokes.

CATWALK THIS WAY

More Swim Week, Right This Way

During Swim Week, some models walk on catwalks. Others, however, walk down Española Way’s cobblestoned streets. Those last ones will be wearing bikinis and Josie Bruno vintage army jackets while you sip gratis beer and eat things from Mercato della Pescheria. All parties involved will presumably be very happy.

A Tale of Two New Mexican Spots

Plomo Tequila & Taco Bar: Miracle Mile has its first taco and tequila bar with 11 tacos and 65 tequilas and mezcals.
Tacos vs Burritos Cantina: This North Bay Village spot pits pollo guisado tacos against carne asada burritos in the ultimate Mexican showdown. A porchside margarita may help you decide.

Sleep In. Then Have Some Not-Your-Basic-Beach-Brunch at Casa Faena.

There’s just something about the new brunch at Casa Faena. Maybe it’s the wagyu beef empanadas and lobster benedict eggs. Perhaps it’s the pork belly and grits. Maybe it’s all of those, plus bottomless mimosas. This is going to be some tricky research.

Sundays, 11am-3pm, Casa Faena, 3500 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, 305-604-8485, x-509 for reservations

On a typical Wednesday, Ginger Harris is likely seeking reposado tequila, squeezing her way to the front of a concert or jumping on the back of an Indian motorcycle. That’s just Wednesdays, though.
