You and your seafood-with-a-Latin-twist-loving date (which, specific date) will make your way inside and, if wise, promptly order some sangria. Off-white brick walls and crème terrazzo floors are all around you. There’s a mural of Miami. It’s all very Florida-meets-New-England for some reason.
The menu comes courtesy of the duo who joined forces at China Grill Group and then again at Rosa Mexicano. There’s teamwork in the Surf n’ Turf Frita Cubana with lump crab meat, chorizo and heirloom tomato. Likewise, you and your date will join forces on a dozen oysters served with Cuban crackers and mojo mignonette.
And sidewalk seating is coming soon, which seems like as good a place as any to contemplate the comings and goings of Little Havana’s population over some café con leche flan.
