This week's Perk gives you a free week at Equinox Fitness Clubs, now outfitted with iPhone-assisted bookings
and eucalyptus-scented towels. Fair warning: there may be some exercise involved.
Today marks the beginning of the sake-brewing season in Japan. In honor of the occasion (considered the
Oktoberfest of sake), it's only right to drink sake, and a lot of it—like 100 different labels
hand-selected by Tru Sake's master sommelier.

We haven't confirmed this with Einstein, but we'd venture to say that the theory of relativity really comes
into focus after a few neat whiskeys. So tonight, head to Hardly Strictly Science at the Exploratorium and
learn everything about the physics of music over a cocktail, or three.
411:
$14, 6-10pm, first Thursday of month starting Oct 1, Exploratorium, 415-563-7337
GRAND REOPENING
Quince Reopens in Jackson Square
You've heard a lot about Quince moving into Myth's old space, and today is the big debut. Expect a bigger
menu in the (much) bigger space and David Lynch (the heavyweight NYC sommelier, not the creepy director) in
charge of the Italian-centric wine list.
Even if you can't have your three-martini lunch, you still need to eat. Opt for Bar Bambino's lunch
delivery. Five different sandwiches, like the porchetta, come with shortbread cookies, salad and an Italian
soda. Delivery is gratis for 10 or more—lunches, not martinis.
411:
$12, 11am-4pm, Tuesday-Saturday, Bar Bambino, 2931
16th St, 415-701-8466
BEAST OF BURDEN
Weekly Beast Menu at One Market
Friday marks the beginning of One Market's weekly whole-animal menu. This weekend features five wine-paired

cake. Pig, duck, lamb and cow are lined up for upcoming weeks—just don't tell them yet.
411:
$49, Fridays-Saturdays beginning Oct 2, One Market, 1
Market St, 415-777-5577
