Where You Go for Drinks Now

You recall Turnkey at Cantina, Kevin Diedrich’s pop-up inside Cantina that was the precursor to a new bar project. Well, it’s here, it’s called Pacific Cocktail Haven, and you’re going to want to go have some drinks there right about now. Or when they open at 5. Probably the latter.

A Reservations-Only Basement Bar from Team Liholiho

The Liholiho Yacht Club crew has opened a new bar downstairs from their always-packed restaurant. It’s called Louie’s Gen-Gen Bar. You make a reservation, you drink things like the Last Mango in Paris (Lillet, cognac, mango...), and you eat furikake waffles topped with uni and avocado. Because life’s just that damn good.

A Party with Pizza That You Don’t Pay For

As someone who enjoys a nice electric scooter ride from time to time, you appreciate the good people at Scoot. They’re making some big announcement on Saturday, but more importantly, they’re throwing a party at the Hayes Valley Proxy with gratis Casey’s pizza, Ritual coffee and Smitten ice cream. In conclusion: gratis pizza.

Jun 18, noon-3pm, no cover, Scoot Summer Launch at the Hayes Valley Proxy, 432 Octavia St (at Hayes)

Sundays through Aug 21, 2pm, no cost, Stern Grove, Sloat Blvd and 19th Ave, 415-252-6252

Mai Tais, Whole Roasted Pig and Your Father

Dad. Great guy. So you’ll want this Sunday to be special. Whole-roasted-pig-with-a-few-mai-tais special. Good thing the Presidio Social Club is kicking off their Sunday summer pig roast dinners this weekend. Which is the one that includes Father’s Day. Really works out sometimes.

Sundays through Oct 8, 4-8pm, $45, Presidio Social Club, 563 Ruger St (between Lombard and Sherman), 415-885-1888
