Off to Filson to Drink Fernet. Naturally.

Fernet Francisco, purveyors of locally produced fernet, are having a little get-together at Filson tomorrow night, where you can try their second barrel-aged bottle (aged in Seven Stills Chocasmoke casks), along with their herbaceous original. It’s a fernet tasting. In a retail store. Which you can’t make up.

The Halal Guys Are Headed Straight for Your Desk

The Halal Guys all but invented the NYC food cart line. And while they’ll be opening a few locations in the Bay soon, we should mention that you can order their meaty, rice-y, white-sauce-y goodness for delivery through Caviar right now. Which you’re already in the process of doing, so that’s good.

JUST KIDDING

And Here’s a Goat Festival

Considering the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is already a Saturday go-to, you’ll be pleased to know that this Saturday, there’s a goat festival. Yeah. With cheese, demonstrations, baby goats and all. There may or may not be Goatchella shirts available, too. Just... thought you should know.
