Flatiron Wines just opened their first West Coast outpost in the Palace Hotel. You’ll find anything from solid table wines to hard-to-find collector vintages there. We’re not telling you because Valentine’s Day is coming up and this is incredibly urgent, we’re telling you because we care.
And speaking of Sunday, here’s Antoinette. It’s the newest spot from Dominique Crenn (she of Atelier Crenn and Petit Crenn fame). It’s a French brasserie-style spot in the Claremont hotel in Berkeley. Repeat: French restaurant with direct access to hotel rooms. You can’t make this stuff up.
