WATER BEDS

Hi. Here’s a Sex-Themed Seafood Dinner.

Nothing says Valentine’s night like a five-course seafood dinner. Especially when that dinner includes an informational session about how various sea creatures procreate. Like 69ing deep-sea squid. Yes, we’re serious. Yes, we should probably stop saying words now.

Friday
Records. Comics. Other Things.
FOR THE RECORD

Records. Comics. Other Things.

Ah, the good old days. You know, when some of the best things in life could be found in little neighborhood shops specializing in hard-to-find records, comic books and magazines. Except maybe those days are now. And maybe that shop is Western Relics in the Inner Sunset. Maybe.

Opens Feb 12, Western Relics, 1400 Irving St (at 15th), 415-759-5567

Saturday
In Case Your Sunday Requires Wine...
RED RED WINE

In Case Your Sunday Requires Wine...

Flatiron Wines just opened their first West Coast outpost in the Palace Hotel. You’ll find anything from solid table wines to hard-to-find collector vintages there. We’re not telling you because Valentine’s Day is coming up and this is incredibly urgent, we’re telling you because we care.

Sunday
The Ace Up Your Valentine’s Day Sleeve
ANTOINETTE GAIN

The Ace Up Your Valentine’s Day Sleeve

And speaking of Sunday, here’s Antoinette. It’s the newest spot from Dominique Crenn (she of Atelier Crenn and Petit Crenn fame). It’s a French brasserie-style spot in the Claremont hotel in Berkeley. Repeat: French restaurant with direct access to hotel rooms. You can’t make this stuff up.
