And Now for Something Completely Weekend

It Is Now Time to Happy Hour
PARTLY CLAUDE-Y

It Is Now Time to Happy Hour

French bistro Café Claude has a new happy hour with less-than-costly mezcal drinks, wines on tap, poutine and some dollar oysters thrown in for good measure. Mezcal really dropped the ball on the theme there, but you’ll allow it.

Mon-Fri, 4-6pm, Café Claude, 7 Claude Ln (between Bush and Sutter), 415-392-3505

Friday
A Restaurant Run by Robots. Basically.
THE BOT THICKENS

A Restaurant Run by Robots. Basically.

First, you’ll step up to one of the iPads at this new automated restaurant called Eatsa. Then, you’ll tap around and build some sort of stir-fry quinoa, edamame and teriyaki masterpiece. Finally, you’ll pick up your bowl from a sleek little cubby. In conclusion: the robots are winning.

Saturday
Sort of Like a Mini Outside Lands
CAME AND WENTE

Sort of Like a Mini Outside Lands

You: Tell me about this all-day music festival at Wente winery.
Us: Sure. There’ll be two stages (one outside, one in the barrel room), ever so much live music and Wente’s food truck with BBQ pork belly tacos and smoked-brisket chili cheese fries.
You: I appreciate it. Thanks.

Sunday
Stay Calm. It’s Still a Butcher Shop.
BEL OF THE BALL

Stay Calm. It’s Still a Butcher Shop.

Then: 4505 Meats butcher shop existed.
Now: Belcampo Meat Co. exists in its place. And it has... a lot of the same things. Bone broth, sausages, quail, pork.

Stop in on your way to a Labor Day BBQ. Or whenever you need meat. What we’re saying is you still have meat.

Monday
Sail Around. Test a Mattress. Sure.
SAIL MODEL

Sail Around. Test a Mattress. Sure.

We see two reasons why you’d want to take a sail out of Sausalito aboard a schooner with an open bar and an onboard mattress for testing:

1) You’re in the market for a mattress.
2) You’re in the market for a beer.

There can be no other reasons.
