Meet HRD Smokin Grill. It’s the dinner counterpart to SoMa’s HRD Coffee Shop (naturally), and it’s
bringing Asian diner-ish kimchi burritos and Mongolian cheesesteaks to North Beach. The decor—picnic
tables and an autographed Guy Fieri poster—works for a quick pit stop, but you’re not here for ambience
anyway.
Pretty big day for chocolates coming up. Yep, Super Bowl Sunday. Anyway, we thought you should know you can
now stop by Dandelion’s new on-site café for brownies, hot chocolate and cacao-fruit smoothies—bet
Mr. Wonka didn’t see that last one coming.
You follow some simple rules: don’t start a land war in Asia. Tie goes to the runner. And if it makes an
Aussie smell good, you’ll try it. So give a “g’day, mate” to Melbourne-based Aesop’s first West
Coast store. They’ve got skin creams, exotic shaving serums and... probably some soap.

HIGH DIVE
Big Dive Night at Starlight Room
The classic dive bar. Starlight Room is... not one of those. But this Sunday, it is—they’re bringing you
an evening of $2 PBRs and $5 whiskey shot/PBR combos. Try not to spill any on the white tablecloths.
Someday soon, you’re going to walk down an alley, find a secret location and procure some illicit
substances: you know, like a Reuben. Okay, maybe it’s not that illicit, but it is what you’ll find at
Piperade’s new quasi-secret takeout window. Sadly, your first taste won’t be free.
