Welcome to the future: where you’ll glide to the beach in a sleek, gasless electronic bike
called the Jetson. Where your iPhone doubles as a remote-controlled camera, taking your conference calls to the next level. The
future is now.
You and 11 of your nimblest associates have kept your dodgeball prowess on the down low. But come Saturday,

You never need an excuse to hang out on Dr. Teeth’s sunny patio. But in addition to the usual shenanigans
and cocktails, this weekend you’ll find a chili cook-off. Do your part as judge. Then stoke your
competitive edge with cutthroat games of cornhole. Or, you know, games of cornhole.
Sure, it’s Mother’s Day. But that doesn’t mean you can’t infuse Oktoberfest-inspired festivities
into the mix. For one night only, this Italian den is hosting the spätzle-obsessed chefs from three-star
Michelin restaurant Amador in Mannheim. Go ahead and prepare the lederhosen.

The Roaming Slider Shack Truck
Luaus. Hula dancers. Kalua pork sliders. You’ll find one of these things at the city’s latest food
truck, the Hawaii-inspired Slider Shack. No, not the hula dancers... though we’re sure your coconut bikini
would be welcome.
Here you go: a new spot that’s like the Korean equivalent of an izakaya (those salaryman bars where
Japanese businessmen go to sake-bomb away their troubles). For now, it’s lunch—skewers and various
versions of pork belly. But soon, you’ll get dinners with bacon mochi. Key word being bacon.
