As they say, man cannot live on shirts alone.

Okay, nobody says that, but still. Sounds true enough.

After all, at the very least, you’ll need pants. And since you have the pants, may as well get a suit...

Presenting Taylor Stitch Suiting, a new line of handsome suits from your go-to local shirtmakers, opening Friday.

First things first: Taylor Stitch’s Valencia Street outpost won’t change. But as the guys are sprucing up their offerings, they’re also wisely expanding to a closet-sized tailor shop tucked inside the Station Café bordering FiDi—at least for a few months.

As for the suits, they’ve partnered up with the old-school tailors at Southwick in Massachusetts, who’ve only been doing this suiting thing since... 1929. (Presidents: big fans, apparently.)

We see things going down like this. Stop by Station. Procure espresso. Repair to the shop, where you’ll pick out some fabrics, talk suit stuff (ticket pockets, lapel size, etc.) and try some sh*t on. They’ll jot down your measurements, and six to eight weeks later, you’ll have a sharp-looking suit. (Six to eight decades later, you’ll probably still have it.)

Oh, one more thing: they’ll also make house calls.

You’re on your own for espresso, though.
