An Experimental Taproom and Brewery in Dogpatch

“Don’t know how you do the voodoo that you do so well—it’s a spell, hell, makes me wanna... drink your beer.”

—Salt-N-Pepa, kind of

Prescient poets, that Salt, that Pepa.

They could’ve almost not really been under the spell of Triple Voodoo Brewery and Tap Room—a 15-tap pub and brewery that’s always down for some experimentation, now open in Dogpatch.

The brewery’s right here. You won’t see it. But it’s here, behind the taproom’s wall, a soothing unseen presence—like your parents in the other room when you were a kid. Only here, it’s beer. Beer that fleetly travels just a few feet if you had a bad dream... or are thirsty.

Everything you see in the bar will make you think of beer. The cement bar top with 15 taps. The light fixtures made out of growlers. And also the beer. They only produce 310 gallons at a time, so think small-batch, constantly changing brews like Inception, a Belgian, and 8 Tentacles, an imperial IPA—they’ve got just three to start, but all 14 of the beer taps will be different once they’re really up and running.

The 15th tap is always root beer.

Guess that’s some kind of pun or something.
