Believe it or not, it's time to start thinking about New Year's Eve.

There are a lot of options out there for you (Seacrest is not one of them), but we've got a place that you probably didn't have on your radar yet, mainly because it won't be opening until a few hours before 2009...

A New Year's baby of nightclubs (as extraordinary as an American born on the Fourth, or a tree planted on Arbor Day), Infusion is your sleek, red-lacquered cave of iniquity

Walking in, you'll breeze by an elegant smattering of glossy columns and textured walls before landing a seat on one of the rosewood day beds (more like a night bed for you).

Try your hand with a shochu-based Temptation or a Rosemary Pear Martini, and catch the gaze of the geisha-meets-Mona Lisa hologram situated at the back bar (keeping her eye on things, no doubt). Or, if you've reserved one of the handful of beds in the elevated VIP area, pour your date a flute of Veuve and prep her for the countdown.

Then, after the New Year's dust settles, stop back by for late-night small plates like Shochu-Cured Walu and BBQ Kurobuta Pork Riblets.
