Sometimes all you need is a steak.

But sometimes even the best grass-fed, beer-saturated, massaged, dry-aged cut isn’t quite enough.

That’s when you call in the 25-foot poles, LED lighting and Penthouse Pets.

Hey, they have to eat, too...

Behold Penthouse Club & Steakhouse, the city’s first luxe gents’ club flush with steak dinners from a Michelin-starred chef and a fleet of scantily dressed dancers, opening Thursday on Broadway.

You’re right to be wary of the sketchy outfits along Broadway, but this is more like a swank cocktail lounge/steakhouse that just so happens to have unmentionable entertainment. So you’ll come here to dole out a few Washingtons while dining on a filet mignon and imperial-sized (yes, eight bottles’ worth) bottles of Dom Pérignon.

There won’t be any meat carts pulling up to your table, but you can sample your rib eye over a tableside dance. Or, for more privacy, you could order your Dom and have it specially delivered to one of the seven semiprivate champagne rooms.

And to prove that they take their dining seriously, you can dive into one of the white booths or opt for the chef’s counter and focus solely on Kobe beef carpaccio.

Sort of like reading the magazine for the articles...
