A Brand-New Bowling Lounge by the Ballpark

If you’re a plumber, this is huge.

If you’re Jeffrey Lebowski, this is huge.

If you’re the kind of person who prefers to mix their bowling with martinis, maki rolls and high-stakes trivia contests... yup, this is huge.

Presenting Lucky Strike, a flashy 10-pin alley that contains a gastropub, a game room and a whole bunch of funny-looking shoes, opening next Friday across from AT&T Park.

Well, now you know where you’re going after Giants home games. A massive bowling mecca tailor-made for celebratory IPAs (they’ve got a few more craft beers than your average alley), spicy tuna rolls (bowling and sushi, shockingly good bedfellows) and 10 frames against co-owner/bearded closer Brian Wilson (he’s got a lane named in his honor).

But let’s forget about the bowling for a moment—and the tossing back of Napa Smith organic pints at a bar made from 100-year-old Oregon barn beams. Because you can also sate your competitive streak here playing chess, pool and martini-fueled trivia in a game room with Jeopardy-esque lecterns. Plus: the Jeopardy theme on loop. (No, it’s not.)

And when it’s time to roll, you’d do best to opt for one of the two lanes in the Green Room. It’s an intimate, well-appointed lair with tobacco-hued sofas, emerald velvet chairs and a century-old Italian harvest table.

Also, one heck of an automatic ball return.
