A Bike-Obsessed Pop-Up in Cow Hollow

None
It’s a brilliant, sunny day, perfect for a leisurely bike ride.

Of course, it’s also perfect for sitting around drinking espresso and watching other people ride bikes.

Either way...

Introducing Rapha Cycle Club, an urban sanctuary/pop-up café that’s the cycling equivalent to what a country club is for golfers, now open through July 31 on Filbert.

Whether or not you ride or even care about the Giro d’Italia, this corner pop-up will take care of your caffeine and baked good needs for the next three months with Four Barrel coffee and Tell Tale Preserve’s Ham Pop Tarts.

But if you’re a velo-enthusiast, you’ll want to drop by and check out the pro shop side of things, which is stocked up on Rapha’s collection of understated bike gear, knee warmers, water bottles and the like. Think: solid colors, smart collaborations with Paul Smith, even bike-specific button-downs and blazers by Savile Row’s Timothy Everest.

The whole thing has a sleek, minimalist vibe—along the lines of a sporty, European gentlemen’s club—and is decked out with wi-fi and communal tables for your laptopping needs, a photo gallery upstairs and a bike library.

But you’ll be more interested in the two flat-screens tuned in to even the most obscure races at all hours.

The Tour de Kansas is shaping up to be really competitive this year.
