Hot times call for frosty measures, so JT is adding a few icier options to his Soho shop—specifically,
an in-store cart that'll dole out more than a dozen flavors of frozen delights. Soft-serve sorbet and a
caramel-rum vanilla swirl are go, but nothing says summer romance like a little powdered cocoa.
The Water Taxi Beach Empire expands to a Coney Island–esque beach party in the seaport, with a little
help from a former Studio 54 DJ, a battery of skee-ball machines and a staggering amount of sand. Think of
it as a more conveniently located Hamptons—give or take an estate or two.

The wine bar formerly known as Solex is getting a longer name and a new secret weapon: pizza. The familiar
wavy ceilings and deco trappings will now be sharing space with checkered tables, fresh slices and the
occasional semi-soused pepperoni-seeker with a taste for malbec.
