This is big: Lafayette’s foray into the hallowed space between breakfast and lunch. They’ve got Nutella-topped waffles, salmon benedict, Dijon Bloody Marys and tequila shandies. Oh, and weekday breakfasts in the dining room. They will not rest until your every meal is a Lafayette meal.
Polos: you’ve heard of these garments. They’re what you wear to keep respectable when it’s 237 degrees out with 4 trillion percent humidity. And probably the most handsome versions of them around are part of this Sunspel pop-up, along with some natty swimsuits and tees. Take that, sun.
There’s nothing quite like relaxing in a sunny wooded paradise of leather bucket seats with a whole roasted chicken and a bottle of Burgundy recommended by a guy who won Top New Sommelier in New York before the place even opened. Oh, yeah there is. It’s dinner at this place.
