In one's repertoire, certain items are necessary. A working knowledge of Machiavelli; the VIP number at
Nobu; and the deft handling of bottle service at the
hottest club in town, as of tonight, Pacha.
Buckle up. 36 years after the world's oldest club brand first opened, they've finally landed in NYC. Like
Pacha's 25 sister clubs around the globe, the venue is not for lightweights. International DJ Erick
Morillo is a partner and twice-monthly DJ, Icrave (Crobar, Aer) handled the former
Sound Factory re-design, and the top floor of the 30,000 square foot behemoth is a completely
separate, limited access lounge called...wait for it...Pachita.
Pachita, with its own entrance, is where you'll want to aim. It is bottle service only but, in the
tradition of fine European clubs, unfinished bottles are stored for your next visit. Savvy readers among you
will find a way to get in: If mentioning VIP director 'Zev' at the door doesn't work, find someone with a
Pacha Passport (pictured), which gets you into any Pacha in the world.
Pacha, roughly translated, means to "live like a king." If your repertoire is up to snuff, you'll
be doing the very thing come Friday night.
