They tell you they live on the Upper East Side. You briefly panic. Then you remember, “Oh, right, we can share a bottle of ginny goodness at the Gilroy.” Close call.
So your job is simple. Show up. Give a knowing wave to the fellas behind the small, copper-topped bar, and beeline for the banquette in the red-brocaded back room. Coziness will ensue.
