Bounce Back
Flatiron’s Newest Sporting Lounge

Hello again, football.

You seem well.

It’s been a while since our last rendezvous, so let’s do something special.

We’re thinking dinner... at a 4,000-square-foot sports lounge that looks like Ebbets Field.

Behold Bounce Sporting Club, a Pro Bowl–caliber bar with 30 flat-screens, eight burgers and one 1950s-looking vintage scoreboard, open tonight for the Packers-Saints game.

Think of this as a worthy alternative to tickets on the 50-yard line. An antiqued oak Flatiron clubhouse that’s a little more luxury box (duck leg confit sliders, classic black-and-white sports photos) and a little less nosebleeds next to 300-pound shirt-off guy.

From the horseshoe-shaped leather booths to the back bar wall that could pass for an outfield scoreboard, it’s clear right off the bat that this is a different breed of sports lounge.

On the menu: superior versions of your Sunday staples. Think 10-spice Koreatown chicken wings and grilled skirt steak tacos. At the bar: there are the typical tailgating taps, but also rotating crafts, homemade sangria and a proprietary hangover cure that can best be described as performance-enhancing water.

As for the sight lines: every stool, highboy and banquette in the place comes with unobstructed views of the cage-enclosed HDTVs. And for a more intimate game-day experience, there’s an actual living room in the rear that’s available for private parties.

Or fantasy football press conferences.
