We don’t want to inconvenience you, but tonight’s one of those “cancel your plans and do this instead” kind of nights.

They happen.

Tonight they happen at Doka Square, an all-over-Asia corner spot on the LES where we just have a feeling you’re going to have a good date or two. Seriously, we’re especially optimistic, and hey, it’s now open.

You’re going to look at this with your eyes soon. But first: hear ye, hear ye, a couple pertinent facts:

It’s a small-plates situation. You know those. Kalbi, bao and takoyaki are all there, so... lots of Asia is covered.

The chef here did time at Nobu Fifty Seven and Morimoto, so he knows his way around a flawless white plate of expertly arranged and eminently tasty Asian-ish food.
