Fishing in West Soho

Yachts aren't exactly "in" at the moment.

Something about high-seas overindulgence just seems a bit AIG bonus-y right now.

But if the yacht in question is more of an upscale seafood hangout that just happens to look a whole lot like the innards of a giant boat, well then ahoy…

Welcome to Harbour, the new seafood palace and bar helmed by a Michelin star chef and modeled after the inside of a well-appointed megayacht, opening Monday (and soft-opening now) in West Soho.

Feel free to consider the restaurant your own personal Love Boat dining room, minus the after-dinner show and a bartender named Isaac with a giant fro. The walls are studded with portholes, the banquettes look like waves, and there's a huge blown-glass chandelier above to yacht things up to the next level.

But despite the polished surroundings, you'll be most intrigued by chef Joe Isidori's (The Donald's personal chef for years) small, sea-loving menu—with all entrees under the very un-yacht-like price of 25 bucks. Which means you've got a new go-to date spot on the far reaches of Soho when you're looking for a few Butter Clams and some Cobia Sashimi (the Kobe of sashimi).

There's even going to be some outdoor tables for when a few Hitachinos at the bar spill out onto the sidewalk once spring days like today become a little more regular.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves…
