YOU SAY YOU WANT A REVOLUTION

The Box-Free Turntable

There are many reasons the LP went out of fashion. The boxiness of turntables wasn't one of them. (Okay, maybe it was a tiny reason.) PLINKO

Like Shazam for Art

You already know Shazam—you hold up your phone to "hear" a song, and the phone tells you what song it is. And like that, your towel girl is unemployed.

PC WORLD

The Computer from WarGames

Before he was Ferris, Matthew Broderick played David Lightman, a teen who stumbles onto a computer that simulates World War III. (Or something.) Anyway, that computer—an invaluable piece of cinema history—is going up for sale. Your estimated cost: 25 grand. History doesn't come cheap.
