Two sturdy trees.
Fifty gallons of water.
A swimsuit-clad companion who shares your exceptional taste in leisure activities.
Looks like you’re ready for Hydro Hammock: a glorious new creation that will soon have you in a hammock filled with steaming water, now available for preorder on Kickstarter.
You’ve got questions. Go right ahead.
Q: I’m excited. Oh, God, I’m excited. What’s it made of?
It’s a sealed synthetic canvas—so it can hold two adults and up to 50 gallons of water. You’ll really only need about 20, though.
Q: I plan to use all 50.
Great.
Q: And how does it heat up?
Through a portable gas heating system. You can get magically hot water coming in from a garden hose, a lake, an ocean...
Q: That’s perfect. Will I be able to attach it to trunks with ease?
Yep, with the accompanying straps and carabiners. It’s all pretty simple.
Q: This would be even better if I could remove the lining and form it into a self-standing bowl to place in the sand or snow.
You can, actually.
Q: I have to go enjoy my weekend now. But I’ll be telling good people in good bars about this.
Been a pleasure. See you Monday.
