Strangers With Candy
The Country's Best Candy, Delivered

This past weekend, you rekindled an old flame. (It's okay—we did, too.) And while
it's been a few days, you still find yourself thinking about it…
We're talking about candy. (And the "sexy bumblebee" at the bar. But we can talk about that later.)
And now, someone is letting you relive that heady rush, once a month, every month…
Introducing the
Candyphile Candy Club, a sugar buzz of an idea that brings candy from the country's
farthest-flung places straight to your door, taking orders now.
Consider it a sort of sugar-fueled road trip across the U.S., except you don't have to leave home. Every
month, you'll receive a four-pack of candy, each chosen from the country's finest small-batch candy makers.
(The picks are made by Lollyphile, the company that brought you the sugary genius of the
absinthe, bourbon and white Russian lollipops.)
So come December, you'll get an order of Valomilks—a sort of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, but with a liquid
marshmallow filling, that you usually can't find outside of the brand's native Kansas. (Arguably the state's
greatest achievement—that and "Dust in the Wind.")
In the months ahead, expect deliveries from way-out candy makers like Ruth Hunt's Blue Mondays (an airy,
chocolate-covered Peppermint Pattie from Kentucky), Chick-O-Sticks (a crunchy peanut butter–coconut roll
from Texas) and Idaho Spuds (a fluffy chocolate marshmallow covered in a chocolate shell and coconut).
Two guesses where that one's from.
