Hippies Pouring Wine at Au Pied

To celebrate this year's launch of the Beaujolais Nouveau wine, Au Pied is celebrating with a swinging '60s party, complete with bell-bottomed ladies pouring a complimentary glass for anyone who brings in a nonperishable food item. You always knew that 99-cent can of corn would come up huge one day.

Bottle Service

A Free Bottle of Wine at Four Seasons

Meanwhile, over at the Four Seasons, Acqua is uncorking complimentary bottles of the latest Beaujolais Nouveau for all couples. The catch is you'll have to order the three-course bistro dinner with items like steak frites and duck confit. Twist your arm…

Status Update

Cocktails and Hyperlinks at the Viceroy

Something called Yokenow.com is throwing a glitzy launch party at Club 50 tomorrow. We don't know much about the site (it's like Facebook with file sharing), but we do know there will be gratis cocktails, DJ Irie spinning and the opportunity to meet people face-to-face—a crazy concept if we've ever heard one.

No cost, 9-11pm, Nov 20, Viceroy, 485 Brickell Ave, 305-503-4400

The Israeli Lauryn Hill at the Arsht

Israeli musician Idan Raichel brings his eclectic Middle Eastern-African rhythms to town for a one-night-only performance on Saturday. There's plenty of talent in his caravan, but the musician you'll be most seduced by is sultry Ethiopian-Israeli vocalist Cabra Casay—think Bar Refaeli meets Lauryn Hill.

Going Global

South African Home Cooking at Grass

Plucky South African and former Top Chef contestant Micah Edelstein is the new head chef at Grass. We took the liberty of test-driving the menu; you'll definitely want to try the overnight-braised beef, Caramelized Shallot Focaccia, South African lamb and something called Fig Duck Potstickers, which are neither sticky nor pot-like.
