Because it’s never too early to give thanks to the effects of tryptophan, Uncle Tom’s is putting out an off-menu, Thanksgiving-ish spread tonight. We’re talking things like smoked bone-in pork, roasted butternut squash, dressing, cranberry sauce, cornbread, green beans and pumpkin pie. Bonus: no relatives.
So some guys dug up a bunch of VHS tapes from garage sales and thrift stores, then decided to add live commentary to all of the weirdness they found and make a film festival out of it. That’s happening tonight along with pours of Brooklyn Brewery beer. Tom Bergeron sends his regards.
