Watching the World Cup While Drinking

JB Kitchen is blowing it out for the footie. They'll kick things off Friday morning with a mariachi band,
models in body-painted jerseys and six 52-inch screens set up both indoors and out. And throughout the month
they'll have drink specials at happy hour (M-F, 5-8pm) like $4 Micheladas and team-specific menu items,
although no word of Dutch chocolate for Holland.

Breakfast Buffets and Cachaça
If you're looking for something a little quieter, for $15 you can step into the Ritz's posh Amadeus lounge
and enjoy their plush couches, flat-screens and a constantly replenishing buffet (breakfast in the morning,
pizza and tapas in the afternoon). Plus they'll have two-for-one caipirinhas, because if there's any time to
drink Brazil's national cocktail, it's this month.

Unlimited Tacos in Midtown
Even if your appetite for futbol isn't endless, your appetite for tacos is. So this month Mercadito
will be catering to that hunger by opening for 10am matches and offering you all-you-can-eat tacos for $25.
It also helps that they've got 11 different varieties
of tacos—so you can enjoy a different one every time a player dives.

13 Screens and Spanish Cooking
It doesn't get any grander than Mia at Biscayne's gargantuan "iWall," with its 13 plasma screens. The place
will be opening at 7:30am for the earliest games, and Chef Gerdy Rodriguez is dishing up Spanish comfort
food for $5 to $18, like embutidos (sausages in baguettes). This is definitely the place to watch Spain vs.
Switzerland on June 16. Unless you're from Switzerland.

Lucky Strike's massive wall of 22 flat-screens makes it a great spot on Lincoln Road to catch the soccer
mayhem. And you'll definitely want to give it strong consideration for morning matches, when they'll have an
amazingly inexpensive $8 all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with French toast, applewood-smoked bacon and $5
Bloody Marys.
