On second thought, let’s just let TheGrdn do the talking. It’s a new indoor/outdoor beer garden from the Taquiza crew that’s hidden in plain sight, it’s soft-open now in South Beach, and here’s the slideshow.
Right. This place isn’t readily obvious. You’ll find it inside of a random hostel in South Beach. Nothing too crazy. Just a cozy lobby nook that’s been retrofitted with a bar fashioned out of wood and corrugated metal. Great spot for unwinding with a local beer or a frozen Negroni.
But there’s also a door in the back-left corner that leads to a small oasis outside with astroturf, wicker patio furniture and, soon, a facade filled with murals. It’ll come in handy when you need a breather from a particularly heated round of Jenga.
And your fortifications: coming soon in the form of a hot dog cart. But it’s the Taquiza crew, so expect it to be a good hot dog cart. Beef-dogs-cooked-in-kombu-stock-and-topped-with-duck-fat-kewpie-and-chili-herb-salad good.
Which is a pretty specific kind of good.
