But we think we’ve found a compelling reason for you to give it another chance. And no, you don’t need your pink dress mesh socks...

Introducing Ocean Lounge, a den of beachfront cocktails and rooftop POVs, opening this Saturday just in time for a bit of post-summer summering.

There are two parts to this nightlife juggernaut. First, there’s the ground-floor lounge, located at the entrance to the Casanova Suites hotel. This is where you and your date will start off with a few drinks on a leather couch, under the nonjudgmental glare of purple lighting. It’s also where you’ll stay if you’re in the mood to show everyone your latest dance move—it’s sort of a salsa-fied moonwalk—because there’ll be rotating DJs playing everything from house to electronica.

So that’s where the party’s at. But if you’re looking for something a bit quieter, a bit more... “we might make out here,” you’ll want to take the elevator up to the sixth-floor pool deck on the rooftop. There you’ll find another bar, chill lounge music and some turquoise-and-white couches offering views of the ocean across the street.

The ocean is a tireless wingman.
