You require: The beach. Or the pool. This is Miami, after all.
You’ll receive: Both. La Cote conveniently straddles the beach and the Fontainebleau pool. The games will be broadcast on a large screen with DJs spinning poolside and samba dancers doing what they do best. Hint: it’s the samba.

You require: Stadium seating. You know, without actually being in a stadium.
You’ll receive: The pop-up Copa Lounge across from Edge. There’ll be multiple TVs with bench-like seats. Foosball tables. A made-to-order caipirinha cart. And other things you don’t totally hate.

FOR PLAYING THE FIELD

The Futbol Club

You require: An indoor soccer field. Because... June.
You’ll receive: All of the World Cup games projected in 300-inch, high-def glory. And in between matches you can play a pickup game on one of their two turf soccer fields. Or, you know, just drink a beer.

FOR BRAZILIAN SUSHI

SushiSamba Coral Gables

You require: Soccer balls and sushi. It’s not complicated.
You’ll receive: Gratis soccer balls and T-shirts. Cocktails like the passion fruit batida and kiwi caipirinha. Sushi rolls like the Mundial with salmon and collard greens. And apparently, something called the World Cup playing on a bunch of TVs.

FOR BACKROOM BETS

Traymore Restaurant and Bar

You require: Gin. Like, 40 different kinds of it.
You’ll receive: The gleaming newness of the Traymore. They’re sectioning off a private dining room in the back for hardcore FIFA viewing. You can also bet on being served chorizo empanadas and gin cocktails, one by one. Or by the dozen. Counting is overrated.
