In just a few short days, the city will be overrun with swimsuit models, designers and cocktail-swilling moguls. (Yes, they stole the idea from your houseboat parties.) You need a game plan. Here’s one.
The barrage of bikinis starts tomorrow night with a style lounge from local outfit Betsy Moss. Expect ’60s-style suits, turbans and Jackie O headscarves. Toast the January Jones–ness of it all with gratis vodka cocktails during the first hour.

Make your way to the oceanfront tiki bar to catch back-to-back runway shows. Free-flowing champagne and food from Cecconi’s will keep you fueled throughout the proceedings. Afterward, everyone will retreat to the eighth-floor pool deck for in-depth bikini discussions (and more champagne).
Come Saturday, you may need some rest—so settle into a white cabana bed for this daylong swimwear fest. The shows start at 3:30pm, so you’ll warm up with a gratis welcome cocktail (for those who RSVP) and order off the brunch menu. Waffles and bikinis: always a winning combo.
At the Gansevoort, you’ll find gift bags, swimsuit sales and an open bar with rum and vodka. Also: TheReal Housewives of Miami’s Adriana De Moura, launching her line of sunglasses. Because no one knows eyewear like a Real Housewife.
And after a day on the beach surrounded by fashion types, you’ll probably want to unwind with a drink... and more fashion types. Find both at the Aqua Di Lara after-party at SkyBar, where vodka cocktails are on the house from 10 to11pm. Sometimes all you need is more of the same.
