On those nights, you'll need a really good friend to back you up. Or just a company called Zingo.

Introducing Zingo Ft. Lauderdale, a new designated driver service that will get you home safely after your next night of shenanigans.

Following in the footsteps of other programs in cities like LA and Toronto, Zingo works like this: at a certain point in your night, it becomes clear you shouldn't be driving home. (Read: 2pm.) That's when you call the Z-men, and they send over a guy riding a foldable scooter. The guy stashes the scooter in your trunk, drives you and your car home, and then rides off into the horizon (at a radar gun-blistering 35 mph).

Now, the company is based in Ft. Lauderdale, so that's where they'll do most of their short-notice pickups. But they are willing to accommodate Miami trips—you just need to give them about a day's heads-up so they can arrange for your scooter-riding savior.

Now all you have to do is stay within the city limits...
