In one word, you’ll know almost all there is to know about the new Tuscan place on the block:

Date-night-wine-and-black-truffle-chicken-on-the-water.

See?

But just for good measure, here are some other words...

That place is called Antica Mare, it’s brimming with handmade pasta and red wine, and it’s open now right on the Intracoastal. Here’s the slideshow and here’s the menu.

This place is the latest extension of Atlanta’s ever-so-popular Antica Posta, and it’s pretty damn date-friendly. Think white linen tablecloths, floor-to-ceiling windows, a rich walnut bar and an outdoor patio overlooking the water with a trellis of soft lights overhead.

Potential key piece of intel: no one’s ever going to find you here. It’s tucked inside of a condo building in a residential neighborhood, which officially qualifies it as “out of the way.”

But once you do find it, settle in with a Super Tuscan. Queue up some housemade gnocchi, followed by the oven-roasted Tuscan chicken breast with truffle sauce straight from the owner’s family playbook.

Most of the really good chicken stuff comes from playbooks like that.
