Street Tacos and Margaritas in Wynwood

Welcome to the first Monday of 2015.

The day you’re going to buckle down and make those resolutions stick.

No, but really.

Seriously this time.

There’s just the small matter of new tacos you might want to attend to first...

... at Coyo Taco, a laid-back Wynwood taqueria doling out pork-stuffed corn tortillas and spiked Mexican sodas, open now. (Check out the menu and the slideshow.)

Wynwood. Not exactly top of mind when you’re thinking about your next taco run. But that’s changed. Because the Dos Caminos chef has planted his flag here with a wide-set exhibition kitchen making hand-pressed tortillas in plain view. Nice.

The time to go: now. It’s the joint adorned with bright-blue crashing waves right next to Panther. You’ll start by walking up to the counter and placing your order for hand-smashed guac and tacos. They come stuffed with things like 12-hour roasted achiote pork shoulder and cactus. Or even quinoa, if you insist on sticking with this whole “being healthy” notion.

Then grab a seat at the rustic wood communal table and get to work on your bounty with a margarita or one of their Mexican sodas spiked with tequila.

We won’t tell your resolutions.
