In It to Wyn It
An Art Gallery with Beer and Sausage
You love a good painting. It can be transformative. Powerful. Moving.
And most importantly, it can make for a great backdrop to a lamb burger and a cold Belgian ale.
Which brings us to
Wynwood Kitchen & Bar, your new gallery-esque brasserie of comfort food, craft
brews and the funkiest outdoor garden in Miami, open for lunch and dinner starting today.
Walking in, the first thing you’ll notice are the
massive
murals above the suede bar—courtesy of cultural maverick Shepard Fairey (also known as the guy who
painted the Obama image, but you knew that).
But don’t get tunnel vision—there’s plenty more art to go around. Like the 11-foot-tall sculpture at
the entrance, and the (beautiful) graffiti-adorned walls that frame the outdoor patio. You’ll feel a bit
like you’ve stumbled into the dining room of a quirky art collector’s private warehouse (who also
happens to make his own sausages).
Start off with a few brews like a Warsteiner Pilsner from Germany or a Unibroue Maudite Ale from Canada.
Then,
dive into the menu, sampling small plates of veal sausage with horseradish sauce and
calamari tempura. All while sitting in a room collaged in red and black pacifist heroes.
We hear they’re still working on your mural.
