Pool Season 2009
Get excited: pool season is here. That means your next trip to the desert will be bathed in a little more sun, soaked by a few more boat drinks and enhanced by a glorious wealth of bikinis. Below you'll find our list of the season's best opening parties at your favorite Vegas oases… and a few reminders of why this is where you dip your toes in the desert.
Sapphire Pool
When you let a gentleman's club design your pool, the results are probably going to lean towards outdoor
champagne room. In addition to the requisite daybeds and loaded cabanas, there's a make-your-own mojito bar
and plenty of waitresses that you may recognize from last night.

Tao Beach
Already rounding into form, Tao Beach officially gets going with a party on April 18. Expect plenty of
celebs filling out the giant cabanas and milling about in chilled bathrobes. Also expect floating Chinese
lanterns, fire poles and a light show. (Yes, there's a swimming pool involved, too.)

Wet Republic
Think of Wet Republic like an outdoor ultralounge, only with six freshwater pools, two saltwater pools, a
few floating lounge chairs and a 60-foot marble bar to remind you why you're in Vegas in the first place.

Venus Pool Club
Caesars' adults-only, topless Europool brings the club vibe back for another season of poolside daylife. Not
to mention a few perks—Evian mists, frozen grapes and poolside massages—to complement the
scenery.

Bare
Secluded by giant palm trees, this smaller, skin-friendly VIP pool is chock full of all sorts of things to
snack on (frozen fruit kabobs, smoothie shots), to sip on (pitcher service instead of bottle service) and,
naturally, to gaze on…
