This year’s Cinderella story is a 24-hour sports bar and gambling lounge that’s relocated, doubled in size and added braised-short-rib tater tot nachos, just in time for March Madness.

We know. You never thought nachos like that were possible.

And yet, despite all odds, here’s the new-and-improved Race & Sports Book, now open on the casino floor of the Cosmopolitan.

First, try to imagine Dick Vitale giving a play-by-play on this illustrious photographic montage.

Great. Now you’ll want to go about planning your Vegas trip around one of those weekends at the end of March. The ones with the foam fingers that aren’t spring break.

And when the time comes, you’ll arrive early and claim a spot in front of the LED video wall. If your team falls behind, placate your nerves with some pulled-pork potato skins. Then, when victory is imminent, pour a glass of their rye-and-cinnamon-fig-vermouth drink on your friend’s head. Or just drink it. Drinking it works, too.

Also: should you need to keep busy between games, they’ve got foosball, pool and a sports-themed table game area.

This is your time, sports-themed blackjack.
