New Happy Hour at Glow

If you find yourself near Marina del Rey in the near future, you'll want to stop by Glow and wait for 4pm to hit. Their new happy hour includes $4 Kona Longboard ale, which we're excited about pairing with the $8 mahimahi fish tacos. In fact, nothing's over $8, which just goes to show how highly they think of their fish tacos.

Mondays-Fridays, 4pm-7pm, Glow, 4100 Admiralty Way, 310-578-5142

90% Off John Varvatos Suits

John Varvatos's slim-but-not-too-slim suits, dress shirts, sport coats, jeans and other sartorial paraphernalia will be on sale at up to 90 percent off starting tomorrow. There'll be more than 15,000 JV items up for grabs in all, but you know how crazy guys can get about designer T-shirts, so you probably want to secure yourself a spot soon.

Introducing the Akasha Bakery Lounge

Culver City restaurant Akasha is taking its happy hour a step further tomorrow, transforming its bakery into a lounge-y, DJ-enhanced space for drinks (including an expanded craft beer list) and bar food like Fried Chicken Sliders. No word yet on vodka-infused bear claws.

Fridays-Saturdays, 6-10pm, Akasha, 9543 Culver Blvd, 310-845-1700

IN THE BACK

Gratis Bar Apps at Rockwell

If you haven't yet made it to Rockwell, Los Feliz's recently minted outdoor hideaway, we're giving you an extra nudge toward the back alley. This Saturday and Sunday, mention UrbanDaddy with drink orders and you'll get a choice of Thin-Crust Cedar-Roasted Pizzette or American Kobe Sliders on us. You're welcome.

4pm-2am, Sept 26-27, Rockwell, 1714 N. Vermont Ave, Los Feliz, 323-669-1550

Sunday
Caché Debuts Brunch

Caché Debuts Brunch

You already know about Caché as a great place for dinner in a flickering courtyard. Starting this weekend, they'll lure you for brunch by pairing poached eggs with duck confit, buttermilk pancakes with banana cinnamon rum sauce, and French toast with brioche and vanilla mascarpone. Clearly, they've moved beyond flickering.

11:30am-2:30pm, Saturdays-Sundays, Caché, 3110 Main St, 310-399-4800
