There's still a piano. There's still a bar. But the new owners of this ancient just-off-Cahuenga spot have
quietly given it an otherwise comprehensive fancy-goth makeover. You can't see much of it, since the lights
are down so low. But it's nice. We think.

three-course special for $25. Watermelon, shrimp and a Mexican chocolate ice cream sundae all incorporate
the honored spirit one way or another. Mention UrbanDaddy, and the first round of Guavalove
