Hollywood’s Most Ballerina-Friendly Nightclub

Black Swan was truly a defining film in your life.

Its profound message about the importance of clubbing with crazy ballerinas—well, it really stuck with you. Somebody finally had the courage to say it.

And now, the part where you actually go clubbing with crazy ballerinas.

Introducing AV, Hollywood’s astonishingly wonderful new nightclub full of dark corners and soaring go-go ballerinas, hosting private events now and officially opening May 7.

So yeah, if this club were a movie character, it would be Natalie Portman—but in the second half of Black Swan, when she’s going goth, making out with Mila Kunis and primed to cause some mayhem. Only you’ll dance to Rihanna instead of Tchaikovsky. (Tchaikovsky needed to work on his beats.)

Past the velvet rope—this is the next spot from a Voyeur guy, with the Alliance running the door—there’s black, purple and gold everywhere. To your right: a large bar. You’ve got time for a Blackberry Bourbon (bourbon, muddled blackberries and basil) before things get too wild.

To the left: a heady swirl of curving booths, flashing lights and yes, goth-y ballerinas in tutus and fishnets. They dance. They... stretch. Occasionally, they take flight overhead. All of this is real.

And when you need a break from all this, head down the rear corridor to find a lush little hidden courtyard.

Note: you may never need a break from all this.
