The thrill of the hunt is great—but sometimes less hunt equals more
thrill.
And so it is that older women and the younger men who love them shall be corralled into The California
Cougar Convention, a wondrous new nature preserve padding into the wilds of Los Angeles this
Friday.
After taking in an insightful keynote address on the current state of the American cougar (it's strong, very
strong), you'll be batted around a giant feline dance party.
And the dancing shall be broken up (officially, at least) only by the crowning of Miss Cougar
California—as judged by the attending cubs. The prize: a trip on the International Cougar Cruise,
deploying in December.
And guys, if your fledgling cougar seems to be struggling with issues like who pays and how to dress, tell
her to come early for the female-only Cougar School—class starts promptly at 6:30pm, so all
lessons learned can immediately be put to action on the dance floor that night.
Something tells us we'll all pay.
