Eating Caviar in a Glass Greenhouse

You’ve got a pretty crazy week.

Your parents are in town. Your ex is in town. Your studio wants an answer on the Michael Bublé biopic project.

Time to just bring everybody together for a regal, worlds-colliding dinner party, throw in some Bordeaux and Lobster with Pomegranate Snow and let the chips fall where they may.

Introducing The Royce, your new home for fine dining with relatives, recurring lovers, employers and anybody else who cares about Michelin stars and fancy old hotels, now taking reservations for its Friday debut inside the Langham Pasadena.

To start, tell everybody to meet you in the white wine room―the walls are covered in wine bottles―where you’ll down a few flights to break the ice.

Then you’ll stroll through the dining room once known as... The Dining Room. It’s now unrecognizable, in a good way, with 21st-century white walls, some flashes of silver and a Patina Group vet in the kitchen.

But you’re not stopping here. You’re dining in the glass-enclosed veranda out back, with sweeping views of the Langham’s 23 acres of gardens. It’s like a greenhouse, but with plates of Guinea Hen and Caviar instead of plants.

It’s the greenhouse you’ve always wanted.
