The weekend is the spice of life.

Thursday
A Museum of Enviable Guitars
BETTER CAUL PAUL

A Museum of Enviable Guitars

Paul Reed Smith, the guitar maker outside Annapolis who supplies everyone from Dave Navarro to Carlos Santana, has reopened his sprawling factory to weekday tours. And while you’re there, check out the new museum and store, where you can admire one-of-a-kind axes and pick up some guitar swag. You can always use more.

Tours Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am and 1pm; store hours Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm; Paul Reed Smith Guitars, 380 Log Canoe Cir, Stevensville, MD, 410-643-9970

Friday

BLADES OF GLORY

Skating in Your Bathing Suit

You’ve probably complained about the cold and ice of late. So here’s a promise of... nothing but cold and ice. The ice rink at Canal Park would like you to don your finest bathing suit (well, any bathing suit) and do some skating. Watching other people do this is perfectly acceptable.

It’s Chamber Music. Paired with Beer.

Let’s see, how to make classical music appeal to a new generation... Well, beer’s not a bad place to start. The All Points West music collective is performing some Bach chamber music, with Atlas Brew Works stepping in to pair beer with each piece. We’re not quite sure how that works either.

Sunday
Fondue and Toddies on Leather Couches
DO THE ’DUE

Fondue and Toddies on Leather Couches

In Switzerland, they have a thing for sticking skewers into big pots of melted cheese. So does Jack Rose, which is turning its leather-couch-laden Balcony Room into a fondue happy hour most nights. There will also be $6 hot cocktails. But we probably had you at melted cheese.

Tuesday
When Happy Hour Meets Point Break
UTAH JAZZ

When Happy Hour Meets Point Break

Good news: Eat the Rich now has a happy hour focused on local spirits, beer and wine. Better news: in honor of the show Point Break Live coming to the Howard Theatre, that happy hour coincides with a Point Break screening and trivia session at the bar. Just look for the Reagan masks.

Happy hour Tue-Fri, 5-7pm; screening Mar 3, 5pm; Eat the Rich, 1839 7th St NW, 202-316-9396
