Fine-dining chefs dropping all the French sauces in favor of barbecue: this is now a thing. And it means you’ve got another BBQ destination, as the chef behind Newton’s Table in Bethesda is turning out whiskey cocktails, biscuits with bacon jam and all kinds of smoked meats and fish.
Dupont’s becoming your late-night weekend-dining mecca. Exhibit N: Yafa Grille, a gleaming new shawarma/falafel spot that takes the Chipotle-assembly-line approach. Yes, they serve lunch, too. But that seems so much less exciting.
