A Glover Park Gentlemen’s Club, Reborn

Today, we’re not talking about date spots. Or love.

No, more like the other four-letter word involving the opposite sex and beginning with L.

Because today we introduce you to JP’s, a two-level gentlemen’s club rising from the ashes of the fire that destroyed its previous incarnation. It’s now open to host your next bachelor party or really risqué nonprofit fundraiser.

Let’s get this out of the way: certain people inside this place will be shedding their clothing like it’s their job. (It is.) So this probably shouldn’t become your regular Tuesday happy hour haunt with the sales department.

That will be evident as soon as you ascend the stairs to the second floor, because the stage is perched right over those stairs. And it’s transparent.

Anyway... less evident from those stairs: the fact that you can take a seat in one of the club chairs arrayed around the room and order up all the champagne you can handle, plus a well-made Manhattan and parmesan-herb fries, while you take in the game on one of five flat-screens embedded in the mirrors.

On weekends, a DJ spins hip-hop and Top 40, but at other times, you can self-DJ via the jukebox in the wall.

You’re living the dream.
