You’ll make your way past sterling silver Tiffany humidors, huge jars of loose tobacco and glass cases filled with antique clay pipes (mental note: holiday gifts) and into the giant walk-in humidor. Head straight for the island in the center that holds the top-tier brands like La Palina, Padron and La Verita.
Then, commandeer a black leather armchair and settle in for a relaxing siesta-time smoke as you puff with fellow aficionados, from bike messengers to Hill aides.
Programming note: the store is also available to rent for cocktail parties, dinners and the occasional fund-raiser.
