Look Sharp

9,000 Square Feet of Nordic Sleekness

Look. Right here.

No, literally. We mean Look is right here. In this photo.

So at the risk of repeating ourselves, here’s a look at Look, a quite radical reimagining of the Teatro Goldoni space, soft-opening this weekend.

Two things to know about this place. One, it was redesigned by an Icelandic architect, and it’s got all the white tables, mod-looking chairs and splashes of neon you’d expect from such a Nordic chap. Second, it’s a kind of multipurpose spot that’s a means to more than one end.

Starting with lunch. Not a deal-closing, knives-on-the-table-type lunch spot. More of a breezy, get-to-know-you-type lunch over 30 small plates like malbec short ribs.

Should you want vodka, you’ll be in the right place, because a vodka-driven happy hour at the lengthy bar runs from noon to 9pm. (Oh, and you’ll have ESPN on the double-sided hologram projection screens.)

Of course, a place like this begs for some late-night cocktailing, too. That’s when you’ll go to one of the three plush, canopied booths, complete with splashes of blue neon, in the elevated back section.

In fact, rent the whole damn space out for your next event with a big, boisterous group.

As if there’s another kind.
